Teeth Whitening can make your smile look more attractive and younger. Teeth tend to get discolored due to aging, by medications and chemicals or stained by beverages such as coffee and certain types of wine. However it is important to know that Whitening will not correct certain forms of discoloration. Also the results of Teeth Whitening are subjective to the patients expectations.

Teeth Whitening can be done in two ways:

In office Teeth Whitening

This is more effective and involves one or two sitting of upto an hour in the dental office. Hydrogen Peroxide in a specific concentration, activated by light is used to whiten teeth. At home tooth whitening is sometimes used as an adjunct to this for better results.

At home Teeth Whitening
We fabricate special custom trays for you and provide you with a whitening gel to be applied as per instructions given to you by the dentist.

The first appointment comprises of a consultation diagnosing the problem after which the best possible treatment will be advised to the patient. A thorough case history is recorded of the patient on a prescribed format which consists of information like medical history, past dental history, allergies to any drugs, history of hospitalization etc. If required, necessary X-rays may also be taken.

Important: A parent or guardian must accompany the patient below 18 years of age.
